  • Our Future is Aging: Multidisciplinary Research Informing People, Policy and Practice Conference

    Nova Scotia Centre on Aging presents “Our Future is Aging” conference June 3-4, 2025! The conference will showcase more than 75 oral and poster presentations on current research on aging from a diversity of perspectives and disciplines. Keynote speakers will cover topics such as changing contexts of population aging, artificial intelligence and aging, and leading research networks and initiatives. Research centres and institutes across Atlantic Canada are being featured too.

    The event includes two pre-conference workshops for students/trainees on Monday, June 2. A Public Event exploring the realities of “living longer” will kick off the conference on the evening of June 2.

  • 21st EuGMS Congress

    We are delighted to invite you to the 21st EuGMS Congress, which will take place in the vibrant and scenic city of Reykjavik, Iceland, from September 24th to 26th, 2025. Following the success of our 2024 Congress in Valencia, where we celebrated a record-breaking attendance of over 2,300 participants, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to reunite once more in an atmosphere of connection, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.

    The theme for the 2025 Congress, “New Landscapes in Geriatric Medicine” reflects the evolving challenges and innovations in the care of older adults in today’s dynamic world.   • 3rd World Falls Congress 2026

    BGS is proud to be hosting the WFC in Manchester. The WFC will take place at the University of Manchester, from June 24th to June 26th, 2026. This event is intended for clinicians and healthcare professionals working with older people who have undergone a fall, or are at risk of falling. Building upon the past conferences in Malaysia and Australia the two days will include keynote presentations from experts in the field, workshops and plenary sessions demonstrating best practice approaches available. We hope you will make contacts and start collaborations which will continue on from this meeting.
