Dr. Manuel Montero-Odasso
Dr. Manuel Montero-Odasso serves as a Professor at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine, with a cross appointment to the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatics at Western University (London, Canada), as well as a Geriatrician, and clinician-scientist at St. Joesph’s Health Care London, Parkwood Institute, London.

Dr. Brad Meisner
Dr. Brad Meisner is a Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Health Science at York University (Toronto, Canada). He is also affiliated with York University’s School of Global Health and serves as Director of the York University Centre for Aging Research and Education (YUCARE), housed within the Faculty of Health.

Dr. Lesley Charles, MBChB is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta and the Care of the Elderly Program Director. She received her MBChB from the University of Edinburgh in the UK in 1998, and in 2004 obtained a Diploma in the Care of the Elderly from the University of Alberta and later a Certificate of Added Competency from the CFPC.
Executive MemberDr. Lesley Charles
Dr. Kenneth Rockwood OC MD, FRCPC, FRCP, a clinician-scientist, is Professor of Geriatric Medicine, and Research Professor of Frailty and Aging at Dalhousie University. He is also a staff internist and geriatrician at Nova Scotia Health, and Senior Medical Director of its Frailty and Elder Care Network. He is internationally recognized as the leading expert in frailty and geriatric medicine.
EXECUTIVE MEMBERDr. Kenneth Rockwood
Dr. Kiran Rabheru is a Professor of Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatrist at The Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa. With over 40 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to caring for patients and their caregivers, first as a primary care physician and later as a geriatric psychiatrist. Dr. Rabheru is a Certificant and Fellow of both the College of Family Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is recognized as a Founder of the subspecialty of Geriatric Psychiatry in Canada.

Dr. Jane Rylett is a Distinguished University Professor at the University of Western Ontario and a Scientist in the Translational Neuroscience Group at Robarts Research Institute. She was appointed as Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Aging in August 2019 and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. She is a past-Chair of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Western Ontario.
Executive MemberDr. Jane Rylett
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and Past President of the Canadian Psychological Association, Thomas Hadjistavropoulos is the Research Chair in Aging and Health and a Professor of Clinical Psychology, University of Regina, Canada. With a primary focus on pain in dementia, his work has emphasized development/validation of observational pain assessment approaches, widely cited clinical consensus guidelines, knowledge translation initiatives, pain self management, biopsychosocial model development, policy studies and advanced technologies to facilitate pain assessment in older adults.
Executive MemberThomas Hadijstavropoulos
Veronique has 30 years’ experience as a nurse, educator, manager and advocate in seniors’ care and research. Veronique is the inaugural Chief Scientific Officer for Williams Osler Health System’s Research Institute for Health Innovation. Most recently, Veronique was in the role of Executive Dean for the School of Health Sciences at Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates, leading a school of 4,500 students across the UAE.
