The CGS Annual Scientific Meeting 2025
The 44th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the CGS was held in Toronto at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel from May 29–31, 2025.
” Enhancing Care for Vulnerable Populations: Addressing Challenges and Equity in Canada's Healthcare System”
Learning Overview:
Evaluate emerging models of care to improve quality of life for frail older adults;
Describe health inequities experienced by marginalized older adults with frailty and identify opportunities for improvement; and
Appraise the evidence and accessibility for dementia care, including recent novel treatments.
This educational program is primarily designed for geriatricians, family physicians, and other allied health professionals who care for older adults and are interested in geriatric health care. The program is also designed for medical students and other health professional students, as well as medical residents.
