The CGS Annual Scientific Meeting 2026
The 45th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the CGS was held in Montréal at the Hotel Bônaventure from April 23-25.
“Reimagining Geriatrics: Science, Practice, Impact”
Learning Overview:
discuss and incorporate recent advances in geroscience, precision aging, and integrated models of care for older persons (i.e.,5Ms and ICOPE) to improve assessment, risk stratification, and management of complex older adults;
assess and adapt innovative, interdisciplinary, and technology-enabled models of geriatric care to promote equitable, personcentered practice across varied clinical and community settings; and
identify and implement evidence-based approaches that improve health-system integration, support aging in place, and expand the societal impact of geriatric medicine through policy, advocacy, and quality improvement.
This educational program is primarily designed for geriatricians, family physicians, and other allied health professionals who care for older adults and are interested in geriatric health care. The program is also designed for medical students and other health professional students, as well as medical residents.
